‘what, de facto’ presents a meta, self-referential performance situation, where live animation generated in Lispworks recreates the same computers and performers rendering and controlling it - devolving into a Droste-effect stew of absurdity, where attention is steered towards possible chains of relation and causation.
Documentation of previous performances are assimilated into future renditions, rendering the work increasingly multi-layered and convoluted.
